Implementation of the merger between Bank of Åland Plc and Ålandsbanken Asset Management Ab and the issuance of Series B shares

The Board of Directors of the Bank of Åland Plc (Ålandsbanken Abp) has decided that the merger process initiated between the Bank of Åland Plc and Ålandsbanken Asset Management Ab shall be completed and the merger shall thereby be implemented. The plan is to carry out the merger on June 1, 2015.

In connection with the merger, a targeted issue of 762,912 Series B shares will be carried out as part of the payment of the merger consideration. In addition, a cash amount equivalent to 10 per cent of the value of the newly issued shares will be paid.
