Merger between the Bank of Åland Plc and Ålandsbanken Asset Management Ab implemented

The merger between the Bank of Åland Plc (Ålandsbanken Abp) and Ålandsbanken Asset Management Ab was implemented on June 1, 2015. Based on a decision by the Bank’s Annual General Meeting on April 10, 2014 authorising the Bank’s Board of Directors to issue shares, the Board decided to issue 762,912 Series B shares on June 1, 2015 as payment of the merger consideration. In addition, a cash amount of EUR 1,233,629 was paid. After the merger, the share capital of the Bank of Åland totalled EUR 41,439,834.62, while the number of shares totalled 6,476,138 Series A shares and 8,706,972 Series B shares.
